Maintenance Program

Premium Top Drive Preventative Maintenance Program Our preventive maintenance program assists the rig in preventing costly downtime. Our technicians utilize custom checklists based on the OEM’s original maintenance and inspection recommendations. Each grease point, oil check or change, filter replacement or other regular maintenance activity is inspected on a monthly basis. The execution of these activities by the crew is evaluated to identify possible training needs or hands on assistance by Premium. Percentage scores are generated by the Premium checklist to rate the rig on preventive...

Sur-Line® System

We developed the Sur-Line system to prevent mud and other fluids from passing into the power section from the fluid end section of the mud pump, and to prevent fluid from going from the power section into the fluid end section. The Sur-Line system uses a unique floating seal system that bolts into the wall between the power section and the fluid end section. The seals inside this housing seal against the OD of the pony rod, thus preventing fluid from passing between the two sections of the mud pump. We carry parts to fit pumps from most major manufacturers. Sur-Line® systems...

Sur-Lock® Valve Cover System

Save time and eliminate the unsafe practices of using cheater pipes and sledge hammers to tighten and loosen valve covers. In current practice, one rig hand will hold a pipe in the valve cover holes and another will swing a large sledge hammer at the pipe in order to loosen or tighten the assembly. The Sur-Lock® Valve Cover system eliminates this unsafe practice and radically decreases the time it takes to remove valve covers, and replace valves and seats. Sur-Lock requires no special tooling and weighs about the same as a conventional valve cover assembly. With the use of an impact wrench or...

Sur-Lock® Rod Link System

The Sur-Lock® Rod Link System was developed to provide a safer and faster way to unfasten the piston rod and remove the piston from the liner. Save time and reduce failure points by eliminating the need for a hydraulic pump. With our proprietary “taper lock” mechanism you simply use a standard wrench to unload the pins for removal. Our low profile water jet design can be used on pistons 4.5” and up. This system is fully interchangeable with P-Quip’s Rod Link System allowing you to effortlessly replace only the sub rod in “plug & play” fashion. .

Sur-Lock® Liner Retention System

Designed to drastically reduce the amount of time it takes to change a liner, the Sur-Lock® Liner Retainer eliminates the need for hammers to generate the necessary torque required by integrating a torque multiplying pinion and bull gear into a conventional liner retention system. We also reduced the weight of our liner nut to make change-outs safer and easier. The time to install a liner and tighten to the required torque is reduced to 45 seconds. .

Sur-Lock® Frac Fluid Ends

Sur-Lock® Frac Fluid Ends come with the Sur-Lock Quick-Change Valve Cover. The fluid end is designed with the valve cover “threads” machined directly into the valve body. The valve cover drives straight into the body with an impact wrench or pneumatic torque wrench. Typically, a valve cover can be removed or replaced in seconds rather than minutes. Additionally, the valve cover can be torqued and pre-loaded to exact specified levels, thus preventing wash-outs from using other less-precise methods.
